The Hedges Medical Centre has a lively and commited Patient Participation Group.
In the past the Patient Group has conducted surveys for us and currently finds patients’ views through our Friends and Family Test.
The Group holds fundraising events, health fairs and has created a community directory as well as running advice and guidance sessions.

We are looking for patients to join our Patient Participation Group. This group works alongside staff at the practice to help develop and improve services at the practice.

We are a group of patients from the practice that work with the staff to develop and improve services at the surgery. We aim to find out patients’ ideas and suggestions, build relationships between staff and patients, and educate patients about available services.
We discuss ways of improving the surgery with the staff, publish a quarterly newsletter, get involved with public health campaigns and do fundraising.
We meet monthly and you can view recent minutes of our meetings on this page. New members are always welcome.
